Gel. Regular nail polish is not designed to hold up against repeated sun exposure, salt water, pool chemicals, and the general impact of active holiday use. Most guests who book polish find it chipping or dulling within a day or two. Gel is UV-cured and bonds to the nail surface — it holds for two to three weeks under normal conditions, longer if you’re not particularly hard on your hands. The price difference between polish and gel is small. Book gel.

Two to three weeks on average. Toenails tend to hold gel slightly longer than fingernails. How long they last in practice depends on how active you are and how careful you are around the edges — gel is durable but not indestructible. Most guests who book gel at the start of their trip leave Koh Samui with nails that still look freshly done.

Yes — full gel and acrylic extension service including overlays, fill-ins and full sets. Gel extensions from 1,200 THB, acrylic from 1,200 THB. If you want extensions applied during your trip, book ahead as these take longer than standard manicure appointments.

An overlay applies gel over your existing natural nail to add strength and structure without adding length. An extension adds length using a form or tip before the gel is applied. If your natural nails are a reasonable length and you want them protected and polished, overlay is the simpler option. If you want more length, extension is the route.

Around 45–60 minutes for a standard gel manicure. Extensions take longer — allow 90 minutes to two hours for a full set. If you’re booking multiple treatments, let us know when you book so we can allocate the time correctly.

Tools are cleaned and sterilised between clients. We use fresh files and buffers per client. If you have concerns about any part of the hygiene process, ask the team when you arrive — they’ll walk you through it.

Walk-ins are welcome for standard manicure and pedicure appointments. Extensions require more time and preparation — booking ahead on WhatsApp is recommended for these. In high season (December–April) all nail appointments fill up quickly, so booking ahead regardless is worth it.

Yes. A pedicure is maintenance — it has nothing to do with gender. Men’s feet take the same damage from walking and sandals as anyone else’s. The treatment is identical. Walk in.
